Domestic Container Transportation, Inc. was established in December 1997. We are a wholesale transportation company that utilizes rail and truck drayage to provide intermodal services to transportation companies and providers. We move containers door-to-door, ramp-to-ramp, or any combination thereof. We provide 20', 40', and 45' steamship containers, or we can move your, or other steamship, containers.
We transport domestic containers from Los Angeles and Oakland to the Gulf (Dallas, Houston, New Orleans), Pacific Northwest (Portland, Seattle), Midwest (Salt Lake City, Denver, El Paso, Kansas City, Omaha, Minn/St. Paul, Chicago, St. Louis, Memphis), Ohio Valley (Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Louisville, Nashville, Pittsburg), South Atlantic (Atlanta, Charlotte, Savannah, Charleston, Jacksonville, Miami), North East (Buffalo, New Jersey, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Norfolk), and Canada (Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal, Toronto). We can move 40' containers from Portland and Seattle to Chicago, Detroit, Midwest, or Dallas/Houston. Containers moving eastbound are generally provided without chassis at origin or destination, except on door-to-door moves.
We also transport domestic containers from the Midwest, Ohio Valley, South Atlantic, North East, Gulf of the United States, and Montreal/Toronto, Canada to the West Coast Ports of Los Angeles, Oakland, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver, BC. We are also able to move 40' containers from Chicago to Houston. Containers moving westbound are generally provided without chassis at origin or destination, except on door-to-door moves.
In addition to our domestic repositioning, we can move international containers in the United States and Canada. Rates and services are provided upon special request. Chassis are not provided except on door-to-door moves.
